Joey Goebel ist derzeit auf Lesereise durch den deutschsprachigen Raum. Als Robin gesehen hat, dass der Bestseller-Autor im ca. eine Stunde entfernten Gütersloh eine Lesung hält, ging es ans Pläneschmieden! Das Interview wurde angefragt und bestätigt, die Presseplätze ebenso. Dann die große Frage: Wer soll dabei sein? Robin und Kay standen fest, und Tim hat sich auch dazu entschlossen, die Reise anzutreten und dabei für ein paar Tage zum ersten Mal die Crew in Münster zu besuchen. Das war ein großer, wenn auch nicht ganz so produktiver Spaß, denn die Folge diese Woche musste leider ausfallen.
Als kleines Bon-Bon für zwischendurch gibt es nun das Interview (auf Englisch), welches Robin und Kay mit Joey Goebel geführt haben. Dabei haben sie über seine musikalische Karriere als Sänger der fantastischen Punk-Band The Mullets, den Wechsel zum Autor und natürlich über „Irgendwann wird alles gut“ und „Vincent“ gesprochen. Wir bedanken uns noch mal beim Diogenes-Verlag und der Buchhandlung Markus in Gütersloh, die uns so freundlich empfangen haben!

Joey Goebel is currently on a reading tour throughout Germany and Switzerland. When Robin saw, that he will be in Güthersloh – which is about an hour away from Münster – plans needed to be made! He sent an interview request and we got three seats for the evening. So the biggest question was: Who wants to come with? Robin was set and Kay as well, since she also read the books and is a native English speaker. But Tim decided to take this opportunity for a visit and to stay for a couple of days for the first time! While it was all fun, they weren’t really productive so that this weeks episode is delayed.
As a little something we got you the interview (in English), which Robin and Kay had with Joey Goebel. They talked about his musical carrier as singer from the great punk band “The Mullets”, his change of heart to become a novelist and of course his books “Torture the Artist” and “I know it’s going to happen for you some day”.
